FAQs
1. Are three days enough to learn Hijama properly?
Yes. Days 1 and 2 cover the essential theory, safety and preparation needed before practical training on Day 3. You’ll also receive comprehensive course materials so you can continue learning afterwards. The practical techniques are straightforward, but mastering the art of Hijama develops with continued study and practice.
2. Will I receive my certificate and licence immediately?
Not immediately. After the course, you’ll receive a free kit to practise and build your confidence. You’ll then complete either a clinical assessment with us or a case study from home. Once we’re satisfied with your work, your certificate and licence will be issued.
3. Will I be accredited?
Yes. Our Hijama course is accredited by both CMA and IPHM—two widely recognised professional bodies within complementary healthcare.
4. Who will be teaching us?
All our instructors are qualified medical professionals, including doctors and physiotherapists. They have years of experience in clinical practice, Hijama and teaching.
5. What happens if I don’t pass?
It’s extremely rare for a student not to pass. We have four instructors across two classes, allowing us to provide close support. We’ll continue guiding you until you feel confident and can perform the practical techniques safely.
6. What makes your course different?
Our academy itself is accredited, and every instructor has a medical background and actively practises in their field. Our course covers everything from theory and scientific research to safe practical application. We’ve been established for 10 years and have trained more than 3,000 students worldwide.
7. Is the course fully segregated?
Yes. Men and women are taught separately in two private classrooms by separate instructors. We book an entire floor at a well-established hotel to provide complete privacy. Tea, coffee and biscuits are also available in the lobby during breaks.
8. Will we perform Hijama during the course?
Yes. On Day 3, students work in pairs and practise dry, wet and fire cupping under close supervision. All students are expected to participate in all three methods.
9. Why is the course priced this way?
We believe learning Hijama should remain affordable and accessible. Some students want to build a business, while others simply want to help their family or community. As we run courses monthly, we can keep our fees reasonable without compromising the quality of training.
10. Is everyone welcome to join?
Absolutely. Everyone is welcome, regardless of their religion, ethnicity or background. You don’t need any previous qualifications or medical experience—the course is designed for complete beginners.
